Welcome ladies and gentleman, we are in for another epic night of fights on Saturday, June 11. UFC 275 will be taking place in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The main card features two title fights as Glover Teixeira (33-7) defends his Light Heavyweight Championship against the modern day samurai Jiri Prochazka (28-3) and Valentina "Bullet" Shevchenko (22-3) defends her Flyweight Championship against rising contender Taila Santos (19-1), followed by what is sure to be an epic rematch between Zhang Weili (21-3) and Joanna Jedrzejczyk (16-4). Before we witness this amazing night of fights on June 11, I wanted to share my thoughts and predictions on each of these fights.

Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka

Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka is a classic matchup of striker vs grappler, with Prochazka being the striker and Teixeira being the grappler. Glover has been a living example of a man proving father time wrong, by recently capturing the Light Heavyweight Championship at 42 years old and Prochazka has been delivering as advertised, dominating his way into a title shot. Teixeira is looking to prove that age is just a number by defending his Light Heavyweight Championship for the first time and Jiri is looking to become the new king of the Light Heavyweight division. Glover has power in both of his hands and excellent submissions. He displayed that skillset perfectly in his title win against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 267, catching Jan with a vicious left hook and submitting him with a rear-naked choke. Make no mistake about it, Glover is looking to catch Jiri early on the feet, take him down, and submit him. On the other hand Jiri Prochazka is coming into that cage to knock Teixeira's head off of his shoulders. Prochazka possesses some of the most lethal striking in all of the UFC, just look at his last fight against Dominick Reyes for a reminder. Jiri has looked unstoppable, since arriving in the UFC, notching an undefeated record thus far. This fight all comes down to, which fighter being able to implement their gameplan, Will Glover be able to get this fight to the ground and submit Prochazka? Will Jiri be able to use his range and distance to knock out Glover? We shall see tonight!

Prediction: Jiri Prochazka via 3rd-Round Knockout

Valentina Shevckenko vs Taila Santos

Alright guys, we're going to keep this one short and sweet. I think this fight is going to end with Valentina by murder! Okay, let me take the bias out and preview this fight the right way. Valentina Shevchenko is arguably the baddest woman on the planet and could very well be the GOAT of women's MMA. Shevchenko is as perfect of a fighter as anyone could be, she literally has no flaws in her game. I personally haven't seen many of Taila Santos' fights, but I know she has good striking and good reach. In the past, Valentina fights differently based on what type of opponent she is fighting. Since, Taila is pretty tall, I expect Shevchenko to use her grappling and get this fight to the ground. Taila is looking to stand up because that is pretty much her only way of winning, which won't be an easy task by any means. Will Valentina be able to implement her wrestling and take Taila down? Will Santos be able to her range and keep Valentina at a distance to pick her apart? We shall see Saturday night!

Prediction: Valentina Shevchenko via Decision

Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Zheng Weili 2

Alright ladies and gentleman, this is the fight I've been waiting for and my prediction for fight of the night. This fight is a rematch between the two, with their first fight, being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Both women battered each other over 5 rounds and left it all in the cage. The fight is extremely debatable, as some people have Weili winnings dn some people have Joanna winning. Although the rematch won't be five rounds like he first fight, I still expect fireworks. Zheng Weili and Joanna Jedrzejcyzk are two of my favorite fighters and are the elite of the elite in women's MMA. Both women are fantastic strikers and former world champions, which makes this fight the cream of the crop. Both women are coming in their to knock each other out and clam the victory. UFC President Dana White stated that the winner of this fight, will earn the chance to fight Carla Esparza for the Strawweight World Championship in the future. Both women are pretty much even in striking and possess all of the same qualities. I have to call this one right down the middle and any women could win. Grab your popcorn ladies and gentleman, we are in for a hell of a fight!

Prediction: Joanna Jędrzejczyk via Decision
